And the award goes to…

To whom it may concern,
I would like to nominate Lara Forsyth for the Short And Proud Of It Award. She is 12 years old and she is still in primary school, with no job, generally because she is in primary school. She excels at being short, looking younger than she is, and walking up on stage to collect awards. (Hint hint)

Here’s why I think Lara Forsyth should receive the Short And Proud Of It Award.
Firstly, she is really short. She’s around about 100cm tall. Research shows that the average height for a twelve year-old girl is 150cm! That’s 50cm too short! I am an 11 year old girl, and I am 155cm tall. This shows just how short Lara really is. My brother and sister, who are around about the same height, are both 120cm. They are 5 & 7! Lara is about 6 years older than them, and they are way taller.

Secondly, Lara deserves this award, because she is so dedicated to receiving this award that she has never eaten any of the following growth-promoting things:
  1. Turnips
  2. Rhubarb
  3. Peanuts
  4. Beans
  5. Peas
  6. Spinach
  7. Oatmeal
Look it up. All of these food items promote growth, and Lara has never even licked any of them.

And that is why I nominate Lara Forsyth for the Short And Proud Of It Award.

Thank you for your consideration.

Yours Sincerely,

Elaina
