Rejected Baby Names

New Zealand government has banned some baby names. Parents are trying to give their children unique names, but some of them are being rejected. 5 parents have been stopped from calling their child "/", and any name referring to a royal status like "Princess" or "King" wasn't allowed either. Numbers and symbols that cannot be pronounced are not allowed, along with names that are over 99 letters.

My Opinion:
I think that's reasonable.

My Wondering:
Why do people name their babies strange names?

Source: I found this information on Kiwi Kids News.
