A massive cyber attack has infected lots of computers around the world. There have been reports of hacked computers in 74 countries, including some in New Zealand. The hacked computers have been locked by a programme called WannaCry, that demands $300 (NZ$430) in BitCoins currency. Internet companies in New Zealand have been aware of the attacks, and are doing everything in their power to protect its systems.
My Opinion:
I think that hacking is just stupid, and they get nothing out of it. I don’t think people should pay the ransom because that means that the attacks will just keep on happening.
