Queen's Birthday Weekend

During the Queen's Birthday weekend, I went up to my bach in Matarangi. On Sunday, we went to the beach. My dad went swimming, and my brother built a hut. His hut was only about 30cm tall, and when he tried to get inside it, it fell on him. My sister and I thought we could do better. We found the four biggest sticks on the beach, and made a sort of pyramid with them. But we didn't stop there. We got smaller sticks to fill the holes so that we had walls. It took about an hour to do the walls.
After the walls my sister and I sat down in our hut and played cards. But we thought it would be cool if we put pine cones around the edge of the house. So we did that, and finally, we got a good break. But then, our house appeared to have sparked a bit of a competition along the beach. There were about three other people who had started building huts. I think we won...
